Guyanese Inspired. Tate and Lyle’s Demerara Sugar is a fruity, sweet-spiced sugar with large glassy amber crystals providing a distinctive textural crunch. Inspired by a 17th-century cultivation on the banks of what is now known as the River Demerara. Ever since, the sugar cane fields have proliferated across Guyana and provide this demerara sugar! Ideal for use with biscuits, coffee and crumbles. Perfect in coffee and hot drinks, it also makes a great decorative touch on butter-rich biscuits and fruity crumbles. Each pack is 500 GR.
