This Sourdough Olive Bread is a deeply flavoursome loaf, which is even wonderful simply toasted and drizzled with olive oil
This bread is made from traditional methods and ingredients using only plain organic white flour, our own five years old sourdough starter, green and black pitted olives, sea salt, water and about 20 hours to rise at room temperature
Sourdough is an old form of bread leavening. It relies on a mix of wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria that are naturally present in flour, rather than baker’s yeast, to leaven the dough.
Sourdough bread takes much longer to ferment and rise than other types of bread, which is what creates its particular texture.

Store in a cool, dry place up to 3 days from the purchase away from direct sunlight. The life of this product may be reduced under warm conditions. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on the day of purchase and use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Once defrosted consume within 1 day. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
